Why Pet Parents Love Sploot
Great staff. Got into a room immediately which is great since my dog gets way too excited when she sees other dogs in the waiting room. Very transparent about prices, gave us all our options and then showed us a full breakdown of all pricing before we paid. Definitely going to be my go-to from now on. My sweet Gamora is all fixed up and resting.
We took our dog here because she had fallen ill after our cross country move. We have never been so impressed with a vet. From the time we walked through the door we felt at ease. We had been panicked and stress about our dogs situation and they put our mind at ease. They were up front about pricing and the actual space was calming and beautiful. 10/10. Definitely our new vet office!!
Our dog luna absolutely loves this vet. We’ve taken her to the other location when she got bit by a dog and needed emergency care on a Sunday. It was less than half the cost of going to the emergency room. We took her in for some concerns and we were so thoroughly explained everything and our options and the pricing (which was way lower than i thought I would be). The new location is so convenient too. We’re happy to have a new home vet now!
They go over everything with you and your treatment plan and make sure that you’re doing okay as well as your pet. I was satisfied with my visit, I would recommend everyone to them, they did a wonderful job. The app is amazing and it’s so easy to manage your pets care and see everything from your post visit, as well as book a new visit. This place is amazing and I wish I would’ve found it sooner, but I am happy that I found it now!
I called Sploot on a Sunday afternoon, and they were able to get us in after 45 min of my plane landing in Denver after a vacation with my dog. We do not live in Denver, but they were able to quickly see us, diagnose the problem, and treat it in under 2hours. Every staff member was kind, attentive, and very knowledgeable. The location was easy to find and very clean and modern. The text updates were very helpful. The price point was excellent for an emergency vet. I would absolutely recommend this location to anyone needing urgent care for their pets in the Denver area!
We brought our dog in to Sploot with no appointment and were seen immediately and given a treatment plan within an hour. We had been navigating treatment with another vet and could not get help for at least another month. Sploot provided an opportunity for immediate care and a conversation with a vet so we could understand our options. It was a great experience during a stressful time.
We ultimately had a great experience with what started as a tough situation - we were able to book a last minute apt on a Saturday night for our sick pup. They were extremely communicative and thorough and then followed up through the holiday weekend to provide more advice and check in on how our pup was doing. Really went above and beyond and made us feel very supported!
"What a great experience! We were floored with our first visit. A refreshingly modern and pup-first approach to pet care. Dr Jake was a dog whisperer in getting our sometimes (okay always) ornery Bernedoodle to relax for a shot...The digital scheduling and billing makes logistics a cinch- will be recommending Sploot to all of our pup Scout’s friends!"
"I really appreciate how Dr Jake took the time to let my dog warm up to him, and even lick cheese off his hands, before jumping into the exam. Everyone involved had the dog in mind, making the experience as comfortable for her as possible".

Growing up in Littleton, Colorado in the foothills, Dr. Jessica Apted and her family always had many loving cats and dogs around, which showed her the importance of the human-animal bond. Dr. Apted was able to explore, from a young age, the veterinary field by volunteering at local hospitals and rescues. After graduating from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Apted worked at several small animal general practices in the Denver Metro area. In her free time she enjoys camping, traveling, cooking and spoiling her golden retriever Harley.
Since she can remember, Dr. Sylvia has been inspired to become a veterinarian by her love for animals and her natural ability to care for them. After earning her Veterinary Doctorate at the University of Florida, her passion was driven further by her desire to connect with pet parents and help them to improve the lives of their pets. Dr. Sylvia has a special interest in dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and preventative medicine. Outside of work she likes traveling, hiking, and brewery hopping with her husband and sweet dogs, Lizzy and Ralph.
Veronica is a Certified Veterinary Technician. She started her career at a Denver Animal Shelter, where she developed her passion for dental medicine in dogs and cats. She continued to expand her skills working at General Practices.
When she's not caring and loving for animals, she loves gardening, hiking, and spending time with her family. She has a Pug named Winky whose hobbies include eating and sleeping.
for Breanna was born and raised in Northern Minnesota and graduated from NDSU with a Bachelors in Veterinary Technology. She has found a passion working in emergency medicine with a mix of GP. Starting in kindergarten her teacher asked her what she wanted to do when she grew up and it was always to be a Veterinarian. Since then she has surrounded herself with loving and caring for animals. Outside of work Breanna enjoys traveling, spending time with her friends and playing with her lab Stormy.
