THE SPLOOT DIFFERENCE

Warm and Modern Pet Clinics, Built Around You and Your Pet
We value transparency, both in the costs of veterinary services and care and in the treatment process. Gone is the mysterious “backroom” that your pets are taken to for an unspecified amount of time; at Sploot, you will have the ability to watch the treatment process through our glass walls, so nervous pet parents can be with them every step of the way.
Our pet hospital's facilities were created with everything from preventative care appointments to veterinary urgent care and minor surgeries in mind —we’ve invested in top-of-the-line equipment to ensure your pets receive the best pet health care possible.

Unique Experience
From the moment you enter our animal hospital's waiting room, you’ll notice the Sploot difference.
Our animal clinics are designed around you and your pet. A space full of light and warmth. Enjoy beverages for the parents and treats for the pets, to make sure you feel right at home.
Check-in can be virtual through your mobile or on site. Our host will guide you through the visit, from start to finish. You can do all the check-in process online to save time.
Once your pet is called back, you can keep track of them through the window. Our veterinary team will be in touch with you throughout the treatment, so you know each procedure as we go, along with each anticipated cost. No surprise billing here!
We have separate pet kennels and back rooms for both cats and dogs to keep either of our pet patients from getting overwhelmed by any scent. This is just another way we ensure your pet's visit to the veterinarian will be fear-free.
After your appointment, you can rely on post-visit support to reach out to you to see how you and your pet are doing, and ensure you get the follow-up care you need. You can ask our veterinarians any questions or concerns you might have: at Sploot, you’re family.
Our Story

Sploot was founded by pet parents who experienced first-hand the stress of dealing with an unwell pet, compounded by the pressure of unexpected costs. They set out to do veterinary care differently. With its accessibility 365 days/year, modern pet clinics, peak personnel, and seamless in-clinic or virtual care options, Sploot is their vision, realized. Welcome to a revolutionary way of providing veterinary care!
Happier Teams, Happier Pets
Many pet parents are not aware, but medical teams in the veterinary profession are often denied the working conditions and pay they deserve. They are our heroes and we want them to get support and resources they need to thrive. We understand that great care starts with a happy veterinarian and medical team and we put their well-being at the center.

Medical Team

Growing up in Littleton, Colorado in the foothills, Dr. Jessica Apted and her family always had many loving cats and dogs around, which showed her the importance of the human-animal bond. Dr. Apted was able to explore, from a young age, the veterinary field by volunteering at local hospitals and rescues. After graduating from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Apted worked at several small animal general practices in the Denver Metro area. In her free time she enjoys camping, traveling, cooking and spoiling her golden retriever Harley.

Since she can remember, Dr. Sylvia has been inspired to become a veterinarian by her love for animals and her natural ability to care for them. After earning her Veterinary Doctorate at the University of Florida, her passion was driven further by her desire to connect with pet parents and help them to improve the lives of their pets. Dr. Sylvia has a special interest in dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and preventative medicine. Outside of work she likes traveling, hiking, and brewery hopping with her husband and sweet dogs, Lizzy and Ralph.

Dr. Mote’s interest in veterinary medicine began at a young age when she would sneak outside to feed the raccoons and opossums without her parents’ knowledge. She pursued her interest in animals by receiving her doctorate from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Mote is a small animal practitioner with a special interest in emergency medicine and ophthalmology. When she isn’t loving on your fur babies, she enjoys baking and enjoys time with her fur baby, a troublemaking, senior terrier, named “Charlie”.
