1. Program Description
PetHero, Inc. d/b/a Sploot Veterinary Care ("Sploot Veterinary Care," "we," "our," or "us") offers an SMS messaging program (the "Program") to help you stay informed about your pet’s care, including—but not limited to—appointment reminders, prescription pick‑ups, wellness tips, promotions, and other service‑related or marketing communications (collectively, "SMS Messages"). By enrolling in, or otherwise agreeing to receive, SMS Messages from Sploot Veterinary Care, you agree to these SMS Terms & Conditions ("Terms").
2. User Opt‑In & Consent
You may opt in to the Program by:
- Checking the SMS consent box on our digital forms, website, or mobile app;
- Texting a designated keyword (e.g., START) to our short code/10DLC number; or
- Giving verbal or written consent to a Sploot Veterinary Care team member.
By opting in, you authorize Sploot Veterinary Care (and its service providers) to send automated SMS Messages to the mobile number you provided. Consent is not a condition of purchase.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency will vary based on your interactions with us (e.g., number of appointments scheduled, promotional periods). We anticipate 1–4 messages per week, but frequency is subject to change. Standard message and data rates may apply.
4. Cost
Sploot Veterinary Care does not charge for SMS participation; however, your carrier’s standard message & data ratesmay apply. Charges will appear on your mobile bill or be deducted from your prepaid balance.
5. Opt‑Out (STOP)
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP, CANCEL, END, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT to any SMS Message. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message. No further messages will be sent unless you opt in again.

7. Carriers & Delivery
Supported carriers include, but are not limited to, AT&T, Verizon, T‑Mobile, and UScellular. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. SMS delivery may be limited by your mobile operator’s coverage area or technology.
8. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Information collected through the Program is governed by our Privacy Policy. By enrolling, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agree to the Privacy Policy.
9. Eligibility & User Obligations
- You must be at least 18 years old (or have parental/guardian permission) and be the authorized user of the mobile number provided.
- You agree to provide accurate information and to promptly notify Sploot Veterinary Care of any changes to your mobile number.
- You agree not to use the Program for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
10. Modification & Termination
Sploot Veterinary Care may modify or terminate the Program or these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by SMS or by posting an updated version on our website. Your continued participation constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
11. Dispute Resolution & Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict‑of‑law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved in accordance with the dispute‑resolution provisions set forth in our Privacy Policy and/or Terms of Service.
