WHY PET PARENTS LOVE SPLOOT
"All of the employees at Sploot were very warm and welcoming. My pup was just as pleased with the service as me. Speedy and reliable. 10/10 would recommend for anyone on the market for a vet!"
"What a great experience! We were floored with our first visit. A refreshingly modern and pup-first approach to pet care. Dr Jake was a dog whisperer in getting our sometimes (okay always) ornery Bernedoodle to relax for a shot...The digital scheduling and billing makes logistics a cinch- will be recommending Sploot to all of our pup Scout’s friends!"
"I really appreciate how Dr Jake took the time to let my dog warm up to him, and even lick cheese off his hands, before jumping into the exam. Everyone involved had the dog in mind, making the experience as comfortable for her as possible".

Customer Testimonials
Everyone from reception to tech to vet treated Tater with nothing short of the level of tenderness I’d expect only from family. I’m so happy we finally found his very own vet.
Took our kitten here and felt like we were in such good, capable hands! The veterinarian and nurse who helped us were so kind and nonjudgmental and made us feel comfortable during a stressful time!
Every single member of the staff was beyond friendly and compassionate. I could genuinely tell that my dog was in the best of care.
Sploot Platt Park totally exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the lobby and rooms were clean and tidy, and the entire staff was very transparent about pricing prior to the exam/vaccinations were administered. Definitely recommend!!
I LOVED the convenience of online scheduling and unlike a lot of other office/urgent care centers, I was able to get an appointment that day!
The staff is so friendly, down to earth, and they really love pets! They treated my cat just as I would.
Our Yvie girl was experiencing some stomach/bowel issues and Sploot scheduled us a same day appointment. We were in and out in less than an hour, but with more thorough explanations and understanding of her gastrointestinal issues than any previous vet.
My Border Collie, Oreo, is not a fan of going to the vet but everyone at Sploot from the front desk to the assistants and vet were so welcoming and warm and reassuring to her that it made the experience better than she's ever had at the vet.

Dr. Jessica Apted, DVM

Growing up in Littleton, Colorado in the foothills, Dr. Jessica Apted and her family always had many loving cats and dogs around, which showed her the importance of the human-animal bond. Dr. Apted was able to explore, from a young age, the veterinary field by volunteering at local hospitals and rescues. After graduating from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Apted worked at several small animal general practices in the Denver Metro area. In her free time she enjoys camping, traveling, cooking and spoiling her golden retriever Harley.

Since she can remember, Dr. Sylvia has been inspired to become a veterinarian by her love for animals and her natural ability to care for them. After earning her Veterinary Doctorate at the University of Florida, her passion was driven further by her desire to connect with pet parents and help them to improve the lives of their pets. Dr. Sylvia has a special interest in dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and preventative medicine. Outside of work she likes traveling, hiking, and brewery hopping with her husband and sweet dogs, Lizzy and Ralph.
