WHY PET PARENTS LOVE SPLOOT
Thankfully even on a holiday Sploot was open & truly cared about Freya & my concerns about how she as feeling. The Veterinarian explained everything thoroughly, as well as the RVT made sure I truly had & understood all the instructions. Everyone that was working at Sploot on Thanksgiving, was absolutely delightful, and showed such compassion and care for my dog. I truly appreciate it!
My dog was struggling with an ear infection and couldn’t get in with her regular vet before I leave town for the holidays. Sploot LoDo booked me in with very short notice and everyone was fabulous the whole time. Kind, inviting, straightforward, and very transparent about treatment and costs. Dr. Lenahen normally works at the Highlands location but was at LoDo today and I’m so glad he was! He was personable, gentle with Maddie, and was quick with looking at her & prescribing treatment. We were in and out in less than an hour. I would highly recommend Sploot for your pets’ needs.
I recently visited Sploot’s LoDo location for my pup’s annual vaccine and wellness check-up, thanks to the helpful reminders from their excellent app (about vaccines due and heartworm test). The team’s Fear Free approach significantly eased my pup’s usual stress. The clinic’s environment is both calming and beautiful. I’ve visited other Sploot locations in the past and I’m consistently impressed with the quality of service at Sploot. Highly recommend them for their attentive and top-notch veterinary care.
Sploot's new location is convenient to me, open 7 days a week, and everyone there is super helpful and kind. They made sure to see our dog immediately due to the nature of her accident, and they saw to my comfort while I was waiting. I'm super happy that they're here, and even if I want to keep them to myself, it'll be best for them and the community if everyone knows how good they are. Highly recommended!
We were seen at Sploot LODO last night. Highly recommend. They are very transparent in pricing upfront before treatments. Dr Ratchford is by far highly intelligent and you can tell he cares truly about your pet. He caught something with our pet and took immediate action to make sure we had a great plan ahead. The team at Sploot was so caring and professional! We will not go to another vet now from how amazing this experience was aside from what tragedy we are currently dealing with with our puppy. Thank you all from Chomper’s Family
Sploot Vet Care at LoDo is exceptional! The team's expertise and genuine care for pets is evident. The facility is clean and inviting, creating a stress-free experience. They go above and beyond with personalized advice! I highly recommend Sploot for top-tier pet care!
Such a great location, clean & well-designed facility, & amazing staff who are all so friendly and helpful! We’ve been going to Sploot since Jan 2021 - started at the Highlands location & now the LoDo location is super convenient for us since it’s closer to our home. It’s been cool to see them expand and offer a much-needed service to the market- urgent care for pets, genius!
"What a great experience! We were floored with our first visit. A refreshingly modern and pup-first approach to pet care. Dr Jake was a dog whisperer in getting our sometimes (okay always) ornery Bernedoodle to relax for a shot...The digital scheduling and billing makes logistics a cinch- will be recommending Sploot to all of our pup Scout’s friends!"
"I really appreciate how Dr Jake took the time to let my dog warm up to him, and even lick cheese off his hands, before jumping into the exam. Everyone involved had the dog in mind, making the experience as comfortable for her as possible".

Growing up in Littleton, Colorado in the foothills, Dr. Jessica Apted and her family always had many loving cats and dogs around, which showed her the importance of the human-animal bond. Dr. Apted was able to explore, from a young age, the veterinary field by volunteering at local hospitals and rescues. After graduating from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Apted worked at several small animal general practices in the Denver Metro area. In her free time she enjoys camping, traveling, cooking and spoiling her golden retriever Harley.
Since she can remember, Dr. Sylvia has been inspired to become a veterinarian by her love for animals and her natural ability to care for them. After earning her Veterinary Doctorate at the University of Florida, her passion was driven further by her desire to connect with pet parents and help them to improve the lives of their pets. Dr. Sylvia has a special interest in dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and preventative medicine. Outside of work she likes traveling, hiking, and brewery hopping with her husband and sweet dogs, Lizzy and Ralph.
Veronica is a Certified Veterinary Technician. She started her career at a Denver Animal Shelter, where she developed her passion for dental medicine in dogs and cats. She continued to expand her skills working at General Practices.
When she's not caring and loving for animals, she loves gardening, hiking, and spending time with her family. She has a Pug named Winky whose hobbies include eating and sleeping.
for Breanna was born and raised in Northern Minnesota and graduated from NDSU with a Bachelors in Veterinary Technology. She has found a passion working in emergency medicine with a mix of GP. Starting in kindergarten her teacher asked her what she wanted to do when she grew up and it was always to be a Veterinarian. Since then she has surrounded herself with loving and caring for animals. Outside of work Breanna enjoys traveling, spending time with her friends and playing with her lab Stormy.
