Yes. We don’t bill insurance directly, but we provide itemized invoices that you can submit to any major pet insurance carrier (Trupanion, Healthy Paws, Nationwide, ASPCA, Lemonade, and more) for reimbursement. Payment is collected at the visit — we accept all major cards, HSA/FSA, and CareCredit.
No — membership is optional and anyone can book a visit at Sploot Trolley Square. SplootPack is available for pet parents who want bundled wellness exams, vaccines, and discounts on services year-round.
Sploot Trolley Square is open 8am–8pm, 365 days a year, including weekends and holidays — same-day urgent care is available during those hours. We do not offer overnight 24-hour critical care. If your pet needs after-hours emergency care, we’ll help coordinate the right specialty hospital or ER, and we can follow up with your pet the next morning.
Bring any prior medical records or vaccination history if you have them — we can also request them from your previous vet. A leash or carrier, your pet’s favorite treats, and a list of any medications they’re currently on are all helpful.

Yes. Sploot Trolley Square accepts urgent drop-offs during regular hours (8am–8pm) for issues like vomiting, limping, ear infections, foxtails, skin and eye irritation, and altitude-related concerns. Call ahead so our team can prep for your pet’s arrival.
Sploot Trolley Square is a full-service clinic: wellness & preventive care, urgent care & sick visits, surgery, dental, vaccinations, puppy & kitten care, and more — all under one roof. We handle over 95% of your pet’s care needs in-house.
We’re a convenient Sploot clinic for pet parents in Central City, East Central, the Avenues, Liberty Wells, and downtown Salt Lake City. Our Holladay clinic is also a short drive away.
Free parking is available at the clinic. The entrance is accessible, and our team is happy to help if you need a hand getting your pet inside.
