EVENT: Vet Tech Week

At Sploot Veterinary Care, we put in a conscious effort to create a positive, appreciative workplace. At the end of the day, it’s not only about happy pet parents, pets, and vets. The valuable contribution of our veterinary technicians and assistants is the glue that holds everything together — so that our veterinary clinic can continue to give the high level of care that we’ve been committed to delivering since day one! 

In celebration of the National Veterinary Technician Week, Sploot’s vet techs and assistants were given a week-long celebration, filled with special surprises. 

Goodies n’ Gifts

For starters, we gave away goody bags with branded notebooks, new bandage cutters, candies, and other gifts to our hardworking veterinary technicians and assistants.

Tasty Treats

Because nothing brings people together quite like good food, we treated our veterinary technicians and assistants to catered brunch and lunch! Taco lovers were particularly happy with the taco bar we had set up!

And for the pups in the clinic (they are always included in our celebrations), we prepared barkuterie boards filled with delicious and healthy treats.  

Chair Massages

Last but not least, we treated our vet techs and assistants to chair massages. For a whole two days, we put together a special space in the break room just for soothing, stress-relieving, and immune-function-optimizing chair massages.
