Set up the new autoship first

Check your first ship date
It’s on the order confirmation. That’s the date you’re covered from, so check it before you change anything on the previous version.
Then cancel the old autoship
Log in to the previous version of SplootRx and cancel the repeating order there, so you’re not billed twice.
Set up before you cancel, so your pet never has a gap. If your pet takes something daily, a day of overlap is easy to fix and a missed dose isn’t.
What if my doctor doesn’t approve it?
It usually means your pet is due for an exam or a check-in before that medication is safe to continue. Your doctor will ask, or reach out to book the appropriate appointment.
How long does approval take?
The request goes to the clinic that wrote the prescription, not to an outside pharmacy, so there’s no waiting on two businesses to reach each other. If something is missing we’ll contact you rather than leave the order sitting. Call or text your clinic at (720) 239-6648 to check on one.
What if my pet’s prescription isn’t on file yet?
Order anyway. If we need a current prescription — a first fill, a lapsed one, or a medication that needs a recent exam — we’ll reach out instead of cancelling the order. If your pet is due for a visit before we can approve it, we’ll tell you that, and you can book at the same clinic.
Can I move an existing autoship from another pharmacy?
Yes. Set up the same items on SplootRx first, check the first ship date on your confirmation, then cancel the old one — so your pet never has a gap. The steps are in the “Moving your autoship” section above.
Is it the same medication I’d get at the clinic?
Yes. Everything ships from licensed manufacturers and veterinary pharmacies — not third-party warehouses or resellers — so storage and handling are the same as what’s on our shelf.
