Dr. Berlin’s Veterinary Journey
After graduating in 2022 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Julia Berlin set out to do what she had long been drawn to: helping animals and the people who love them. Her curiosity about science and medicine started early, and over time it grew into a clear purpose. She saw that as a veterinarian, she could make a real difference for pets and their families alike, giving them a higher standard of care and more healthy years together. Today, Dr. Berlin is a caring, dedicated veterinarian and a member of the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).
Dr. Berlin’s Career & Experience at Sploot
As an Associate Veterinarian at Sploot Veterinary Care - Denver, Dr. Berlin has a special interest in general practice and client education. She enjoys partnering with pet parents and sharing what she knows so they can care for their pets with confidence at home, which strengthens the bond between them along the way. Her favorite thing about working at Sploot is the work-life balance. Having time to rest and recharge helps her stay focused and present for every pet she sees. She believes what makes Sploot stand out to pet parents in Denver is being open 365 days a year with extended hours, and offering all-in-one veterinary care under one roof.
Outside of Work
When she’s not at the clinic, Dr. Berlin loves spending time with her dogs, from cozy nights with a good book or a movie to exploring new places. She also loves to travel and capture her adventures through photography, and she’s a proud Seattle Kraken hockey fan. Dr. Berlin is a dedicated pet parent to two cattle dogs, Ranger and Wrigley. Ranger, her 9-year-old cattle dog mix is fondly described by the veterinarian as her “heart dog.” He always wants to be by her side. Meanwhile, Wrigley, her 4-year-old cattle dog, is a sweet, people-loving girl who is completely obsessed with any toy she can chase.
