Dr. Hannah Jorgensen graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2024. Her love for animals began early, and she has wanted to become a veterinarian since childhood. Experiencing the human-animal bond inspired her to pursue a career caring for the pets who are such important members of our families. She is currently continuing her training toward her Fear Free certification.
As an associate veterinarian for Sploot Veterinary Care in Colorado Springs, Dr. Jorgensen is excited about the opportunities to learn and grow, particularly by expanding her surgical skills. She values Sploot’s all-in-one veterinary care, extended hours, and availability 365 days a year, which help pet parents access care that fits their schedules. Outside of work, Dr. Jorgensen enjoys hiking, walking, kayaking, and paddleboarding, as well as baking and reading. Since recently moving to Colorado Springs, she has set a goal to walk through every neighborhood in the city. She is also a devoted pet parent to Oskar, an 8-year-old domestic longhair cat. Dr. Jorgensen fondly shares that Oskar enjoys Churu treats, drinking from the faucet, cuddling, and settling into the sink for a nap.
